Who Protects Us from the Police? Structural Racism in Law Enforcement in the European Union

This report confronts the pervasive reality of racist police brutality in Europe, questioning why victims like Oury Jalloh and Adil Charrot remain overlooked. It highlights how racialised communities disproportionately suffer violence and harm at the hands of police, with near-total impunity and scant mainstream attention. In a system lacking recognition and accountability, the report asks a fundamental question: who protects us from the police? It calls for urgent systemic change to address this entrenched injustice.
