We work to end systems of control so that we can build a society rooted in care, intersectional feminism, and solidarity with the global south.
Care not control
We work to shift laws, policies and public spending away from punitive and discriminatory approaches to migration, policing and digital policy. We want to redistribute to build societies of care, protection and social provision and resource systems of safety outside of carceral institutions.
We’re advocating for life affirming, intersectional feminist policies that put racialised women, queer, trans and non-binary people, migrants, people with disabilities and those in precarious work at the centre.
We link racial justice in Europe to broader justice struggles across the world. We’re building solidarity practices with global movements for economic and environmental justice and against imperialism.
Equinox is based in Brussels – the centre of European Union policymaking. Find out how we’re working to shift the narrative on racial justice in the EU institutions.
